Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

School burglary: An intruder broke into Cherry Hill Elementary/Middle School in the 800 block of Bridgeview Road on Monday, damaged $400 worth of door locks and ransacked several classrooms.

Burglary: Fourteen cartons of cigarettes were stolen Tuesday from Fast Pizza in the 900 block of Washington Blvd.

Theft: Someone entered the bedroom of a house in the 3600 block of St. Margaret St. on Tuesday night and removed $900 from a closet.

Central District

Theft from vehicle: A cell phone valued at $200 was stolen Tuesday from a 2000 Jeep Cherokee parked in the 300 block of W. Lexington St.

Theft: Someone entered a 1995 Honda Accord parked in the 100 block of E. Pratt St. on Tuesday and stole two pairs of shoes. They were valued at $90.

Theft: A full-length coat valued at $300, and $2 in cash were stolen yesterday from a 2000 Infiniti parked in the 100 block of W. Mulberry St.

Eastern District

Burglary: A television set and a DVD player were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1900 block of Perlman Place.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Two 12-gauge shotguns, cash, coins and a drill - all valued at $2,100 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1100 block of S. Ellwood Ave.

Northern District

Theft from vehicle: A cell phone valued at $149 was stolen Monday from a 2003 Mitsubishi in the 500 block of W. 28th St.

Western District

Attack: Police were seeking two men who sexually assaulted a woman, 24, behind a building in the 2500 block of Gwynns Falls Parkway about 4:30 a.m. Sunday and left her for dead after choking her. The woman was treated at Mercy Medical Center.

Shootings: A man, 23, and a woman, 30, were standing at Francis and Retreat streets about 4:35 p.m. yesterday when a passenger in a passing car fired several shots, hitting each victim in the right leg. They were treated at the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Robbery: Answering his door Tuesday evening in the 700 block of N. Fulton Ave., an 81-year-old man encountered a woman who struck him with a broomstick and robbed him of $125.

Baltimore County

Garrison Precinct

Robbery: A 19-year-old man was sitting in the ball field bleachers at Milford Mill Academy in the 3800 block of Washington Ave. about 1 p.m. Tuesday when two males, one armed with a handgun, robbed him of his wallet and clothing.

Robbery: A man, 64, was in the hallway of his apartment building in the 7900 block of Dunhill Village Circle about 1 p.m. Tuesday when two men, one with a handgun, robbed him of his wallet and keys.

Burglary: Jewelry, a computer and a microwave - all valued at $800 - were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 9100 block of Liberty Road by someone who entered through a rear door.

Robbery try: Two teen-age boys, one of whom implied he was armed with a gun, were in the process of robbing a man, 33, in the first block of King James Circle about 2 a.m. Tuesday when they spotted an approaching police car and fled.

Burglary: A 27-inch TV, a DVD player, 25 DVDs and 15 compact discs were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 2900 block of Tent Mill Lane.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A Tweety Bird bank containing $800 was stolen Tuesday from a house in the 7900 block of Roseland Ave. by someone who entered through a basement door.

Burglary: A DVD player, stereo receiver, VCR, computer monitor and cash were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 10700 block of Jones Road by someone who entered through a rear window.
