A 57-year-old Severn man was arrested on child pornography charges after investigators found photographs of naked children in his carry-on bag at a security checkpoint at Baltimore-Washington International Airport, officials said yesterday.

Daniel Lee Fleck of the 8200 block of Clearwater Court was being held yesterday on $25,000 bail on two counts of possessing child pornography and one count of soliciting children, police said.

Fleck was arrested after trying to pass through the security checkpoint at Pier D for a Houston-bound flight, police said.

Transportation Security Administration officials saw a knife and a shotgun shell in Fleck's carry-on bag, searched it and found what appeared to be child pornography, police said.

Maryland Transportation Authority Police were called to the checkpoint and found about 100 photos of naked children and a video that contained images of a girl in the bag, police said.

A search of Fleck's home by police and federal agents revealed more photographs and other items associated with child pornography, police said.
