Spalding loses Swift to broken hand

Senior Caitlin Swift, an All-Metro wing for the No. 3 Archbishop Spalding field hockey team, will miss the Interscholastic Athletic Association of Maryland's A Conference tournament after suffering a broken hand in the Cavaliers' 2-2 tie against St. Paul's Wednesday.

Swift had 18 goals and seven assists on the season.
