Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Robbery try: A man, 20, was walking in the 1400 block of Park Ave. about 9 p.m. Wednesday when at least six young males, one with a silver-colored handgun, demanded his money. The group fled without robbing the man when a car approached.

Arrest: Thomas Yancey, 45, of the 500 block of Baker St. was arrested Wednesday in the 800 block of Edmondson Ave. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder in the shooting Oct. 9 of Thalon Bullock, 47, in the 500 block of Baker St.

Southeastern District

Arrest: Ebron Richmond, 19, was arrested yesterday at his home in the first block of N. Kresson St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder. He is accused of shooting Jermall Lilly, also 19, in the 400 block of N. Highland Ave. on Oct. 17.

Theft: Two men entered a truck parked outside a store in the 3700 block of Fleet St. on Tuesday and stole 33 cartons of cigarettes.

Eastern District

Arrest: Ricardo Simmons, 24, of East Baltimore was leaving the Clarence M. Mitchell Jr. Courthouse about 9:30 a.m. Wednesday when members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force arrested him. He is charged in a warrant with attempted murder in the shooting July 4 of Victor Henderson, 26, in the 800 block of N. Patterson Park Ave. Simmons was in court for an unrelated offense.

Burglary: Someone entered the station of the city Fire Department's Truck Co. 15 in the 1200 block of N. Montford Ave. on Wednesday and removed two sets of keys from a workbench.

Southwestern District

Arrest: Carl Ringgold, 40, of no fixed address was arrested yesterday in the 2500 block of Hollins St. on a warrant charging him with attempted murder in the shooting June 30 of Andre Wallace, 23, in the 3000 block of Grayson St.

Southern District

Robbery: Four men, two with guns, robbed New Bombay Bazaar Groceries in the 1500 block of W. Pratt St. of $600 and 16 cartons of cigarettes about 7 p.m. Wednesday.

Baltimore County

Towson Precinct

Robbery: Three men, one with a knife, accosted a woman, 20, in the stairwell of a garage at Towson Town Center about 9:40 a.m. Wednesday and took $60.

Essex Precinct

Rape: A 16-year-old Essex girl reported Monday that she had been raped Aug. 20 by a teen-age boy she knows. No arrest had been made
