Finding direction

Completed illustrations and quickly composed sketches are displayed side by side in LeftRight, an exhibition of works by Maryland Institute College of Art faculty member Warren Linn.

Placed next to each other, the artist's creations address the ways in which he tackled the demands of commissioned work while developing his own artistic voice.

The show, which is on display in the college's Pinkard Gallery, will run through Nov. 9.

The Pinkard Gallery is at 1401 Mount Royal Ave. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays and noon-5 p.m. Sundays. For more information, call 410-225-2300 or visit www.mica.edu.
