HOWARD CRIME REPORT

East Columbia

Setting Sun Way: 7400 block, Kings Contrivance. Someone entered a home by forcing open the rear kitchen window between Oct. 10 and 12. A coin collection valued at $10,000 was stolen.

Waning Moon/Quiet Hours: Owen Brown. Two men approached a man while he was walking, and one displayed a handgun and attempted to rob him about 8:30 p.m. Oct. 15. The victim pushed past the men and ran away.

West Columbia

Turnabout Lane: 6000 block, Harper's Choice. Someone broke through a home's rear sliding door and stole compact discs and a video game console between Oct. 10 and 12.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Eagle Court: 9600 block, Ellicott City. A resident discovered lawn tools with a value of $899 missing from an unlocked garage Oct. 12.

Business Parkway: 6700 block, Elkridge. Someone entered a fenced-in yard at Overland Contracting Inc. between Oct. 10 and 13 and stole $14,000 worth of tools.

Marshalee Road: 6000 block, Elkridge. Three men, one armed, robbed a Papa John's pizza restaurant Saturday.
