Howard (2-3) at Morgan State (2-4)

Series: Morgan leads 33-29-3

Last week: Morgan lost to North Carolina A&T, 28-21. Howard defeated Florida A&M, 16-14.

Outlook: Morgan took two giant steps backward last week with six turnovers after taking two massive steps forward the previous week with the upset of Bethune-Cookman. WR Tommy Manus continues to lead the team with 13 catches for 205 yards. Vince Brown is the defensive leader with 56 tackles, including 11 for losses of 31 yards. Howard will try to spoil Morgan's homecoming behind the rushing of Antoine Rutherford, who has 439 yards this season.

Towson (3-3) at Bucknell (3-3)

Site: Christy Mathewson Memorial Stadium, Lewisburg, Pa.

Time: 1 p.m.

Radio: WTMD (89.7 FM)

Series: Towson leads 8-7

Last week: Towson defeated Holy Cross, 30-13. Bucknell lost to Penn, 14-13.

Outlook: Towson's ground game was in high gear last week with the return of seniors Matt Romeo and Ray Harris, who combined for 94 yards and one TD. Bucknell's three losses have come by a combined total of six points to three Ivy League schools Penn, Columbia and Cornell.

Salisbury (4-0) at Kean (1-5)

Site: Alumni Stadium, Union, N.J.

Time: 1 p.m.

Radio: WICO (1320 AM)

Series: Salisbury leads 7-4-1

Last week: Salisbury defeated Chowan, 44-3. Kean lost to Montclair State, 9-0.

Outlook: The unbeaten Sea Gulls struck for 25 points in the second quarter last week and rolled up a season-high 500 yards total offense in a game that featured NFL tight end prospect Kyle Acker breaking loose for five catches for 81 yards. Kean gave up an 85-yard touchdown run on the opening kickoff last week.

McDaniel (2-3) at Dickinson (2-3)

Site: Biddle Field, Carlisle, Pa.

Time: 1 p.m.

Radio: WTTR (1470 AM)

Series: McDaniel leads 33-24-1

Last week: McDaniel lost to Gettysburg, 30-20. Dickinson lost to Muhlenberg, 50-6.

Outlook: McDaniel's comeback this season behind QB Brad Baer was short-circuited by Gettysburg last week, despite Baer's passing for 223 yards and a touchdown in the loss. The McDaniel defense is led by senior linebackers Troy Mason (58 tackles) and Omar Phillip (48 tackles). Dickinson has been outscored 128-51 this season. The Red Devils did get a little offensive punch last week from freshman RB Andy Reisig, who rushed just five times for 53 yards.

Widener (2-3) at Frostburg State (2-2)

Site: Bobcat Stadium, Frostburg

Time: 1 p.m.

Series: First meeting

Last week: Frostburg defeated Wesley, 42-39, in overtime. Widener lost to Albright, 30-29.

Outlook: RB Edward Kearney is averaging 6.8 yards a carry (32 for 218 yards) for the Bobcats, who have been hurt by turnovers. Widener features QB Mike Lomas, who has passed for 1,031 yards and 10 TDs, but has been intercepted 10 times.

Bowie State (5-2) at Elizabeth City State (1-5)

Site: Roebuck Stadium, Elizabeth City, N.C.

Time: 1:30 p.m.

Series: Tied 10-10

Last week: Bowie defeated Shaw, 14-13. Elizabeth City lost to Virginia State, 50-9.

Outlook: Bowie needs two more wins to clinch the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association East Division title for a second straight season. The defensive-minded Bulldogs are now being referred to as the CIAA's "resident bully" by the league's Web site. QB Lamar Manigo has completed 35 passes for 406 yards and four touchdowns this season. Elizabeth City has been led by QB Daniel Herlihy, WR Hasan Jones, and DL Maceo Thomas.
