Family Branch YMCA names Troy Weaver executive director

Troy S. Weaver has been named executive director for the Howard County Family Branch YMCA in Ellicott City by the YMCA of Central Maryland. He is responsible for operations, board development and fund raising.

Weaver has served as associate director of the Howard County YMCA for the past four years, and as fitness, program and membership director at YMCAs across the country.

PCA Group president attends ElderCare program

James S. Peacock, president of the PCA Group, recently attended the ElderCare/PrimePlus Services Conference held by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Phoenix.

The conference included sessions on financial services for the elderly. Peacock specializes in financial and tax planning for businesses and individuals.

Jan Hayden selected 2003 Realtor of the year

Jan Hayden was selected as 2003 Realtor of the year by the Maryland Association of Realtors at the organization's 92nd annual Conference and Trade Show last month in Ocean City.

Hayden, an assistant manager and sales associate at the Ellicott City/Enchanted Forest office of Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage, was recognized for her outstanding dedication and extraordinary contribution to the profession.

Sue Pakulla, branch vice president of the company's Columbia/Town Center office, and Jennifer A. Ward, also of the Town Center office, were nominated for the award.

Hollie Pakulla, a sales associate at the Columbia office, was named rookie Realtor of the year.
