Suspect arrested in Calif. in death of Glen Burnie man

A man suspected of bludgeoning to death a Glen Burnie man during a fight in late August was apprehended Thursday afternoon in Salinas, Calif., authorities said.

An Anne Arundel County grand jury indicted Roger Lee Kronawetter, 40, last month in the Aug. 27 beating death of Martin David Dorsey, 41, a homeless man who was found dead in a wooded area near Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard in Glen Burnie, police said.

Kronawetter was being held yesterday at the Monterey County jail and is awaiting extradition to Anne Arundel County. He is charged with first- and second-degree murder and manslaughter.

In Carroll County

Pa. woman, 21, killed in three-car crash

A Pennsylvania woman was killed early yesterday in the Union Mills area of Carroll County when her vehicle rolled over in a three-car collision, state police said.

Amanda L. Hahn, 21, of Hanover, Pa., was driving a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee north on Route 97, south of Saw Mill Road, shortly before 1:30 a.m. when it struck the rear of a 1991 Honda Accord that had collided with a 1990 Mazda MX-6, authorities said. Hahn was declared dead at the scene, police said. No other injuries were reported.
