Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Central District

Arrest: Keith Ford, 36, of the 3900 block of N. Rolling Road in Baltimore County, was arrested Wednesday in the 300 block of Furrow St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of first-degree murder. He is accused in the shooting Sept. 8 of Calvin Shaw, 17, near the victim's home in the 600 block of Pitcher St.

Robbery: Two men were walking in the 1100 block of St. Paul St. about 9 p.m. Wednesday when a man - implying he had a handgun - robbed them of $48.

Western District

Arrest: Darell Laboo, 18, of the 300 block of N. Calhoun St. was arrested Wednesday in the 9700 block of Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. He is accused in the shooting Tuesday of Paul Hanley Jr., 35, of the 300 block of Martingale Ave., in the 1300 block of W. Lexington St.

Northern District

Shooting: A man, 50, was in serious condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center after being shot in the stomach about 7:30 p.m. yesterday in a house in the 2900 block of Huntingdon Ave.

Arrest: After stopping a car for a minor traffic violation about 2 a.m. yesterday in the 2900 block of Greenmount Ave., police learned the driver was wanted on a warrant charging him with attempted murder. Lionel Young, 19, of no fixed address, was arrested in the shooting Sept. 27 of Rashard Coleman, 16, in the 700 block of Benninghaus Road.

Southern District

Theft: Two high-visibility field glasses - valued at $4,800 - were stolen from an office at a city Fire Department marine unit in the 2600 block of Leahy St. at Locust Point between Sept. 14 and Monday. The theft was reported Wednesday.

Southwestern District

Carjacking: Police were seeking two men who robbed a man at knifepoint of his 1998 Isuzu Extreme with tags LSL 656 in the 4700 block of Frederick Ave. about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Theft: Police were seeking a man who stole $207 worth of DVD movies Tuesday from Blockbuster Video at Westside Shopping Center in the 2400 block of Frederick Ave.

Southeastern District

Theft: A football, air pump and coins were stolen Wednesday from a Geo Tracker parked in the 200 block of N. Castle St.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: A 35 mm camera valued at $170 was stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1200 block of White Ave.

Essex Precinct

Burglary: A lawn mower, tools, power washer, generator and other items - all valued at $5,000 - were stolen Wednesday from a shed in the 6800 block of N. River Drive.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary/arrests: Police responding to a burglar alarm at CVS Pharmacy in the 9300 block of Harford Road early Wednesday arrested two men near the scene and recovered cigarettes and a compact disc player believed taken from the store.

Towson Precinct

Burglary: Two videocassette recorders and jewelry - all valued at $991 - were stolen between 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. Wednesday from a house in the 7300 block of Yorktowne Drive while the occupant was in her back yard.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered Cambridge School in the 100 block of W. Sudbrook Lane and stole two computers, a compact disc player and a videocassette recorder Wednesday.

Burglary: Marble counter tops and wooden cabinets were stolen between Sunday and Wednesday from a house under construction in the 6200 block of Glen Falls Road.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: Police were seeking a homeless 27-year-old man who removed $100 from a safe Wednesday at the home of a man in the 3000 block of Vermont Ave. who had befriended him on several occasions.
