ANNAPOLIS - Four people were rescued yesterday when their 28-foot sailboat capsized shortly after noon in the South River, near Duvall Creek, the U.S. Coast Guard said.
Two were rescued by the crew of a private boat, and the other two were pulled from the 63-degree water by members of the Coast Guard in Annapolis, said Petty Officer Scott Winslow. All four, who were wearing life jackets, were in good condition, he said. The sailboat was upside down and had to be towed, Winslow said.
