Robert Anthony Kisner, 35, computer technician

Robert Anthony Kisner, a computer technician who worked in the human resources department of Smartmail of Baltimore, was found dead Sept. 26 at his Columbia home. He was 35.

Results of an autopsy by the state medical examiner were pending, family members said.

Mr. Kisner was born in Nashville, Tenn., and raised in Pittsburgh, where he graduated from high school in 1986. He earned a bachelor's degree in communications from Bowie State University in 1990, and later earned a master's degree in computer technology from the university.

Before going to work for Smartmail of Baltimore, located in Elkridge, Mr. Kisner was employed as a computer technician.

Mr. Kisner enjoyed the theater and had appeared in many plays while a student at Bowie State. He also liked taking videos of his family and compiled a family history in pictures.

Services were held Wednesday.

Mr. Kisner is survived by his father, Dr. Robert G. Kisner of Pittsburgh; his mother, Gloria L. Kisner of Orlando, Fla.; a sister, Angela Lee Kisner Gregory of Orlando; his maternal grandparents, James and Hester Higginbotham of Columbia; and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
