A teen-age boy was fatally stabbed last night during a confrontation with another male on a street in Northwest Baltimore.

About 8:20 p.m., Northern District officers responded to a reported stabbing outside a house in the 3000 block of Rosalind Ave.

Officers found the 16-year-old victim bleeding from at least one wound to the back, said Agent Donny Moses, a police spokesman.

Witnesses told police they saw the youth arguing with another male moments before he was stabbed, Moses said.

The youth was pronounced dead at 8:55 p.m. at Sinai Hospital.

His name was withheld pending notification of family members.

Anyone with information about the attack was urged to call Detective Marvin Sydnor at 410-396-2100.
