2 p.m.: Baltimore Playwrights' Festival - scenes from all nine shows (mature audiences)

3 p.m.: Short New Plays - 10-minute plays written by local playwrights

4 p.m.: Uncle Vanya - interactive tale that's suitable for all ages

5 p.m.: Fog of War - for mature audiences

6 p.m.: Baltimore Playwrights' Festival - scenes from all nine shows (mature audiences)

Sunday:

11 a.m.: Ghost Tales of the Deep South - suitable for all ages

Noon: Warm Up With Shakespeare - interactive activity, suitable for all ages

1 p.m.: Female Parts - recommended for mature audiences

2 p.m.: Baltimore Playwrights' Festival Forum - panel discussion

3 p.m.: Students from the Baltimore School for the Arts - classroom projects come to life

4 p.m.: Reading for the Differently-Abled - demonstration for all ages

5 p.m.: Short New Plays - 10-minute works by local writers

6 p.m.: Script Writing for Film & Television - conducted by Women in Film & Video.

Children's Park

Saturday:

The Storybook Parade: Grand marshal Curious George will lead this year's parade, which will also feature other favorite children's characters. The procession begins at 11 a.m. Saturday in West Park, Mount Vernon Place and Cathedral Street.

Saturday and Sunday:

The Character Castle Storybook Dress-Up Tent and the Children's Craft Tent will be open 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
