AUDREY M. H. REGNER, Registrar, Emeritus of the University of Baltimore, died on August 20, 2003 of a cerebral hemorrhage at Bayview Medical Center. The Oakcrest Village resident was 79. She was married to George P. Regner, a well-known local jazz guitarist for 47 years until his death in 1997. They had two sons, Jeffry S. Regner, Sr. of Bel Air, MD and Scott Jay Regner of Nottingham, MD. In addition to her two sons, she is survived by two daughters-in-law, Christine M. Regner and Robin L. Regner, three grandchildren, Jeffry S. Regner, Jr., Jennifer N. Regner, Daniel E. Regner, and numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Another grandchild, Kristen M. Regner, died in 1990. A life-long Baltimore area resident, Mrs. Regner attended the Baltimore City Public School System and both Johns Hopkins University and the University of Baltimore. During World War II she served with the Coast Guard's Port Security Force in Baltimore. She also worked at the Black and Decker plant in Towson and was employed by Charles H. Steffey, Inc. Realtors. Mrs. Regner joined the University of Baltimore staff in the 60's and worked there until her retirement in 1987 after having served as registrar for many years. Since her retirement she enjoyed hobbies of gardening and cooking as well as activities in the Dundalk AARP Chapter #880 and the Parkville Memorial Post of the V.F.W. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Audrey M. H. Regner will be held at Christus Victor Lutheran Church, 9833 Harford Road on Saturday, September 6 at 11 AM, followed by a reception at the Church Hall.
