Man, 33, fatally shot in Forest Park

A 33-year-old man was shot yesterday evening on a street in Baltimore's Forest Park area and died more than four hours later at Maryland Shock Trauma Center, police said.

About 6 p.m., residents of the 2900 block of Garrison Blvd. heard several gunshots and called police. Officers found Robert Allen lying in the street bleeding from several bullet wounds to the upper body.

Allen, of the 3700 block of Beehler Ave., was taken by a city Fire Department ambulance to Shock Trauma, where he died shortly before 11 p.m., police said.

No arrest had been made last night. Anyone with information about the shooting was urged to call homicide Detective Mark Hughes at 410-396-2100.
