Carroll County Department of Public Works has announced road construction projects for this week.

Shoulder work: John Hyde, John Shelby and Jasontown roads from Springdale Road to Route 852; Grave Run Road from Baltimore County to the state line.
Reconstruction: Ridge Road from Route 26 to Gemini Drive.
Storm drain work and reclaiming: Evergreen Hills Subdivision, Marclee Road and Lewis Lane; Iron Gate Subdivision, all streets; Stone House Village Subdivision; Streamwood Subdivision, all streets.
Storm drain work and paving: Shawnee View Subdivision; Village of Peachwood Subdivision.
Paving: Deer Park Road from Route 32 to the Baltimore County line; Oklahoma Road from Brightwood Court to Mineral Hill Road; Oakland Road from Mineral Hill Road to the end.
Storm drain work:
Reclaiming and paving: Lawndale Acres Subdivision, all streets; Oklahoma Road from Route 26 to Brightwood Court.
Road closed: Alesia to Lineboro Road is closed to thru traffic between Route 86 and York Road No. 1 for storm drain work. Motorists should follow the detour route.
