A headline and a photo caption in yesterday's editions of The Sun incorrectly stated the location of a Howard County barn that will be dismantled, moved and rebuilt. The barn is in Ellicott City.

In an article in yesterday's Sun about new commanders in the Maryland State Police department, the names and assignments of two new majors were incorrect. Thomas P. Coppinger is a new major in the Homeland Security and Intelligence Bureau. Newly appointed Major Christopher E. Finn is assigned to the superintendent's office.

Major Matthew G. Lawrence, whose promotion was not reported, will command the criminal investigations division.

An article in Sunday's editions incorrectly reported the numbers and caseloads of some workers at the Maryland Department of Human Resources. The article said 116 child support specialists have an average caseload of 115. In fact, the department's 116 child care licensing specialists have an average caseload of 115 centers.

The Sun regrets the errors and the omission.
