Frederick woman hospitalized after her car hits house

A Frederick County woman was in critical condition yesterday after she lost control of her car and crashed into a home near Woodbine in western Howard County on Tuesday, police said.

Antoinette Spadaro, 45, of the 4200 block of Deborah Court was traveling north on Woodbine Road about 9 a.m. when she crossed into the southbound lane, lost control and crashed into a house, police said. The accident is under investigation.

She was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where she was listed in critical condition yesterday. The residents of the home were not injured, police said.
