Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.
Baltimore City
Northeastern District
Stolen vehicle: A woman parked her 1995 Plymouth Acclaim in the 4600 block of Anntana Ave. about 1 a.m. Saturday. Seven hours later, the maroon car with Pennsylvania license plates was gone, she reported to police.
Southeastern District
Robbery: A 49-year-old woman walking in the 1700 block of Dundalk Ave. was approached by a man flashing a handgun Saturday afternoon and demanding her pocketbook. The man took her pocketbook and ran away, taking with him a cell phone, glasses, credit cards and other items worth about $65.
Robbery: An 80-year-old pizza deliveryman had just dropped off a pizza Friday afternoon when two teen-age boys slammed him against his pickup truck, rummaged through his pockets and took $57. The holdup took place in the 1700 block of E. Pratt St.
Larceny from auto: Between 7:45 a.m. and 4 p.m. Friday, a compact disc stereo was stolen from a Ford Escort parked in the 2700 block of Boston St. by a thief who broke its front passenger window to gain access.
Southern District
Stolen vehicle: A woman who left her car's door open and the engine running while carrying a bag inside her house in the 1700 block of Jackson St. about 9:15 p.m. Saturday returned to find the 1985 Toyota Corolla gone.
Larceny from auto: The owner of a 1998 Ford Contour left his keys, checkbook and a $500 video camera in the open car Friday in the 1500 block of Andre St. At 10:45 p.m., the man discovered that all three items had been taken.
Northern District
Stolen vehicle: A man reported that his blue four-door 1992 Honda Accord with tags LKM 634 was stolen from the 5800 block of York Road between 5:30 p.m. and 5:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Baltimore County
Garrison Precinct
Burglary: A thief entered a home in the first block of Hamlet Drive between 8:45 a.m. and 3:20 p.m. Friday and took numerous items of jewelry, along with a cell phone and laptop computer.
Burglary: Someone took a Sony PlayStation, video games and a surround-sound stereo system from a home in the 12000 block of Bonmot Place in Reisterstown between 11 a.m. and noon Friday, apparently entering through an unlocked door.
Woodlawn Precinct
Attempted burglary: Two men tried to break into a home in the 4100 block of Holbrook Road about 12:45 p.m. Friday. When the owner heard one of them banging on the front door, she called police and the men fled. An officer found that the men had damaged the basement door.
Burglary: A thief took a DVD player, several rings and $25 in quarters from an apartment on Quarterwood Court on Thursday. The burglar entered through a sliding glass door and evidently used a pillowcase to carry the items away.
Towson Precinct
Burglary: A dirt bike was stolen from the screened-in porch of a home in the 8600 block of Willow Oak Road between 1 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Friday.
Robbery: A man stole a purse containing $160 from a woman as she walked in the 8500 block of Loch Raven Blvd. between 1 a.m. and 1:15 a.m. Friday.
Burglary: Between 7:40 a.m. and 6:40 p.m. Wednesday, a thief pried open the basement door of a house in the 1600 block of Hardwick Road and stole a water jug holding $300 in coins.
North Point Precinct
Burglary: A thief entered through the front door of a house in the 7900 block of Charlesmont Road on Wednesday afternoon and stole three Sony PlayStations, all valued at $300.
