June 17, 2003|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

An Annapolis teen-ager was killed early yesterday in Pasadena after being partially thrown through the sunroof of her mother's Mercedes, which was being driven by another teen, police said.

Holly Channing Wyatt, 17, of the 1300 block of Bay Ave. was riding in the back of her mother's 1990 Mercedes 300 SEL when the car, driven by a Severna Park 16-year-old, ran off Jumpers Hole Road near Benfield Road while going north just after 3 a.m. The car hit a tree and rolled over, police said.

Officer Charles Ravenell, Anne Arundel County police spokesman, said police are investigating the accident's cause. The driver and two passengers, ages 23 and 28, were not injured.
