ELIZABETH LIVERMORE MANNING of West Harford, Conn, formally of Sharon, CT, died in Harford on May 14, 2003 after a long illness. She was born in Baltimore, Maryland on September 22, 1924. She attended the Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore and graduated from the Maderia School in Virginia. After receiving a B.A. degree from Bryn Mawr College she worked in research laboratories at Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Mass and in Geneva, Switzerland. After returning to the United States she did clinical work at the Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City. She is survived by two sisters, Joan D. Manning of Maine and Miriam Holst-Grubbe of Sharon, Conn; a nieces Miriam Babcock and a nephew William Landis III; six grand nieces and nephews. A Graveside Service will be held Sunday, June 29th at St. Peter's Cemetery, Millbrook, NY.
