Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northern District

Arrest: Ellicott Jaspered Bean, 37, of no fixed address, who is on parole for burglary, was arrested yesterday in the 3100 block of W. Belvedere Ave. on a warrant charging him with burglaries of three dwellings this month in Mount Washington. Sgt. Dennis Smith of the district's major case unit said Bean has been on parole since February or March after serving five years of a seven-year sentence. Smith said at least 200 wanted fliers with Bean's photo were distributed throughout the neighborhood before his arrest by officers staking out a West Belvedere Avenue area he frequented.

Southern District

Robbery/carjacking: A man, 40, was stepping from his white 1994 Mazda in the 2500 block of Marbourne Ave. late Monday when a man with a box cutter threw him to the ground and robbed him of $30, a cellular phone and the car, with tags KWL 977.

Shootings: Two 7-year-old boys were playing in an alley in the 4100 block of Townsend Ave. on Monday when someone in the nearby 4100 block of Hague Ave. shot them with a BB rifle. Neither boy was seriously hurt.

Western District

Burglary: A 13-inch television and 30 compact discs were stolen Monday from a house in the 2400 block of W. Lafayette Ave.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 4400 block of Pen Lucy Road on Monday and stole video games valued at $370.

Southeastern District

Burglary: More than $11,000 worth of seafood was stolen early Monday from Mo's Fisherman's Wharf Inner Harbor in the 200 block of President St.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Officer assaulted/arrest: Charles Mohr, a uniformed school resources officer, was attempting to escort a disorderly student from Chesapeake High School about noon Monday when the 15-year-old boy broke his grasp and assaulted him. The student was arrested, charged with assaulting a police officer and released into his parents' custody.

Burglary: Coins and currency totaling $900 were stolen Monday from a house in the 600 block of Delaware Ave.

Wilkens Precinct

Bank robbery: A man gave a note demanding money to a teller at Leeds Federal Savings Bank in the 1100 block of Maiden Choice Lane about 11 a.m. Monday and fled with an undisclosed sum.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Nearly $100 in change was stolen Monday from a house in the 4700 block of Meise Drive by someone who entered through a window.
