Gettysburg men stun McDaniel, 10-7, with 5-goal rally

Gettysburg scored five fourth-quarter goals to rally from a one-goal deficit, as the 12th-ranked (Division III) Bullets upset 10th-ranked McDaniel, 10-7, before 300 fans in men's college lacrosse yesterday in Westminster.

Chase Stewart led the Bullets (10-4, 6-2 Centennial Conference) with three goals. Rob Weaver had two goals for the Green Terror (10-2, 6-2).

Villa Julie 14, Shenandoah 2: The visiting Mustangs (8-1, 5-0) scored the final 13 goals.


Villa Julie 12, Frostburg State 10: Heather Valunas had five goals and two assists to power the host Mustangs (5-7) past the Bobcats (6-7).

Marymount 17, Goucher 9: Susan Decker scored six goals as the host Saints (12-6) won their first Capital Athletic Conference tournament game, beating the Gophers (6-9).

St. Mary's 18, Catholic 9: The host Seahawks (14-2) - led by Karli Libertini's four goals - jumped to a 10-0 lead.

College of Notre Dame 14, Hood 1: Lori Baran had four goals as the host Gators (7-7, 4-0 Atlantic Women's Colleges Conference) beat the Blazers (2-8, 2-2).
