White Sox update

After starting the season 0-3, Chicago got hot for a while, rattling off 11 wins in 14 games before dropping its last two against the Cleveland Indians. The White Sox (11-8) have a pair of impressive streaks going. Carlos Lee has hit a home run in five consecutive games, matching a team record, and Magglio Ordonez has a hit in 17 straight games, matching his career high. Loaiza has been the team's biggest surprise. He's been unbeatable this year after going 9-10 with a 5.71 ERA last season for Toronto. Colon threw his 20th career complete game on Friday against the Indians, his former team, and Stewart allowed just one earned run Saturday for his first major league victory. Entering yesterday, the White Sox led the American League with 14 quality starts. Their new closer, Billy Koch, has converted two of his four save opportunities with an 8.68 ERA.
