Annapolis man robbed in city hotel room

A 49-year-old Annapolis man told Anne Arundel County police that he was robbed in his hotel room in the Hampton Inn in Annapolis early Saturday morning.

The man said that when a friend left the hotel room to get ice, two men wearing ski masks barged through the door, displayed a black semiautomatic handgun and demanded money.

The Annapolis man was held down by one man as the other searched the room and took money from a night table drawer. The robbers then fled.

Three teens arrested in theft from school

Three teen-agers were arrested Sunday on suspicion of trying to steal property from Belle Grove Elementary School in Brooklyn Park.

Anne Arundel County police officers responded to a burglar alarm there just after noon and saw the teens leaving the school through a broken window, carrying property from the school. Two 14-year-olds and a 15-year- old were arrested.
