Airport patrons to get wireless Internet service

Wireless Internet service will soon be available to travelers at Baltimore-Washington Airport.

WiSE Technology plans to make the service available at restaurants, cafes and other concessions at BWI.

Installation of Internet kiosks, to be called "WiSE Boxes," throughout the airport also is planned.

Transportation programs being offered this month

The Women's Transportation Seminar is offering programs on transportation issues to the public this month.

Speakers will include Alfred H. Fox, Baltimore's transportation director, and Robert L. Flanagan, Maryland's transportation secretary.

The seminar is a national organization created to advance the professional development of women and provide access to transportation officials. Information: 410-865-1039.
