Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Stolen vehicle: After picking up a woman in his 1999 Ford Expedition, a man stopped at a tavern in the 3600 block of Fairhaven Ave., leaving the engine running. When he stepped out of the bar a few minutes later, the woman was gone - along with the blue and tan sport utility vehicle with tags M462663.

Theft from vehicle: An in-dash compact disc player valued at $400 was stolen Tuesday from a 2001 Chevrolet pickup truck in the 1700 block of Light St.

Theft: A box containing jewelry and small statues - all valued at $150 - was stolen Tuesday from the front porch of a house in the 4100 block of Audrey Ave.

Northern District

Theft: A briefcase containing medical sales equipment, a pocket computer and other property - all valued at $3,500 - was stolen Tuesday from a 1997 Suzuki Rodeo in the 100 block of W. University Parkway.

Northeastern District

Theft: Hand and power tools were stolen Tuesday from a 2000 Ford van parked in the 5500 block of Moravia Park Drive.

Stolen vehicle: A burgundy 1993 Ford Crown Victoria with tags JYH 228 was stolen Monday in the 1700 block of Homestead St.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man was walking in the 6100 block of Gary Ave. about 4 p.m. Tuesday when he was struck with a bottle by another man and robbed of $12.

Theft from vehicle: A laptop computer and a camcorder were stolen Tuesday from a 1999 Chevrolet van parked in the 100 block of Albemarle St. They were valued at $3,300.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Vandalism/arrests: Two boys, 11 and 13, were arrested Tuesday moments after shattering the windshield of a 1993 Volvo truck parked in the 6900 block of Holabird Ave. The windshield was valued at $300. The boys were charged with destruction of property and released into the custody of their parents.

Shoplifting: Police were seeking a man who stole several razors, an electric toothbrush and an electric toothbrush kit - all valued at $251 - on Tuesday from Rite Aid in the 1700 block of Merritt Blvd.

Cockeysville Precinct

Burglaries: Between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday, someone broke into at least five suites at Marriott's Hunt Valley Inn in the 200 block of Shawan Road and stole computers and computer accessories valued at nearly $12,000.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: Portable TVs and field glasses valued at $970 were stolen Tuesday from a storage area at Radio Shack in the 1200 block of Reisterstown Road.

White Marsh Precinct

Burglary: Jewelry and cigarettes valued at $750 were stolen Tuesday from a house in the 1500 block of Wayburn Road.-
