Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Robbery try/shooting: A man, 47, was shot yesterday during an attempted robbery at a gas station in the 4500 block of Edmondson Ave. As the victim left his car to buy cigarettes about 2 a.m., a gunman demanding money ordered him back into the car and to drive. Instead, he drove around the station's driveway while struggling with the gunman and was shot in the right leg. The gunman fled without money; the driver was treated at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Arrest: Steven White, 21, of the 100 block of Diener Place was arrested there Monday by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a charge of attempted murder in the shooting Feb. 26 of Rafael Hardy, 22, in the 4700 block of Frederick Ave.

Western District

Arrest: Police entered a room at the Comfort Inn in the 5800 block of Baltimore National Pike on Monday and arrested Ivan Potts, 18, on a warrant charging him with attempted murder in the shooting of two men in the 2300 block of Winchester St. on April 3.

Shooting: Police were seeking a gunman who shot two men Sunday in the 900 block of N. Calhoun St. and drove off in a gray Acura. Both victims were treated for minor wounds at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A man entered a woman's house in the first block of S. Curley St. about 10 a.m. Monday and robbed her of jewelry valued at more than $6,000. The man was known to the victim.

Northeastern District

Theft from vehicle: Stereo radio equipment valued at nearly $2,300 was stolen Monday from a 1996 Honda Accord parked in the 4400 block of Moravia Road.

Baltimore County

Woodlawn Precinct

Shooting: Police were seeking two men in the shooting Sunday night of a pizza deliveryman outside the Clark Manor Apartments in the 2000 block of Summit Ave. during an attempted robbery. The victim was fleeing when he was shot three times in the back. He was listed in serious condition yesterday at Shock Trauma.

Robbery: A couple robbed a woman of $1,000 at gunpoint Sunday afternoon in a room at the Quality Inn motel in the 6700 block of Security Blvd.

Towson Precinct

Robbery: A 24-year-old man was walking along Aigburth Road near Far Hills Drive about 2 a.m. Monday when a gunman robbed him of $410 while pointing the weapon at his head.

Garrison Precinct

Burglary: At least $3,000 and property valued at $115,000 were stolen between Friday night and Saturday morning from a condominium in the first block of Hemison Court in Pikesville. Reported missing were six mink coats, several pieces of jewelry, a DVD player and a television. Entry was through a window.

North Point Precinct

Theft/arrest: A man, 29, was arrested Monday when he tried to leave Wal-Mart in the 2300 block of North Point Blvd. without paying for an electric saw and a burglar alarm. The items were valued at $124.
