Devil Rays update

The American League East standings already have taken familiar shape: New York, Boston, Toronto, Orioles and Tampa Bay. And the schedule looks the same, too, with the Orioles and Devil Rays set to meet 10 times this month. The Orioles won last year's series, 10-9, but the Devil Rays avoid Rodrigo Lopez, who went 4-0 with a 1.61 ERA against them. New manager Lou Piniella will shake up his lineup, moving third baseman Aubrey Huff to right field and replacing him with Damion Easley, who hasn't played there since 1996. Right fielder Ben Grieve will join a rotation of designated hitters that includes Al Martin and Damian Rolls. Center fielder Rocco Baldelli leads major league rookies with 12 hits, and Carl Crawford has 13 hits, four steals and six runs. Parque is 4-0 lifetime against the Orioles. Nineteen current Devil Rays weren't on Tampa Bay's roster at this point last season.
