New Positions

Greenberg, Simms, Jibril, Berger join Benelogic

Towson-based Benelogic LLC, a provider of software applications and services in employee benefits, appointed Ian Greenberg, a Towson University graduate, as information exchange administrator; Linda Simms, formerly with Performax, as client service manager; and Donna Berger, a graduate of the University of Maryland, and Al-Qiyamah Jibril, formerly with the Community College of Baltimore County, as client service specialists.

Puliti is a sales manager for convention association

The Baltimore Area Convention and Visitors Association announced that Dawn Puliti has joined the staff as national sales manager for the Northeast. She is responsible for attracting meetings of organizations that book 500 or more rooms.

Formerly national account manager for the Sheraton Inner Harbor Hotel, she is a recipient of several industry awards and a member of the Baltimore Downtown Partnership and Meeting Planners International.

Health Care

Magellan names Emerson chief information officer

Magellan Health Services appointed Jeff D. Emerson chief information officer. He has responsibility for all information technology strategy and operations.

A graduate of American University, where he earned a master's degree, Emerson was president of the mid-Atlantic region of CIGNA HealthCare prior to joining the Columbia-based managed care organization.
