April 07, 2003

A motorcyclist died last night shortly after his bike collided with a car at a Northeast Baltimore intersection.

The man, whose name was withheld pending notification of family members, was riding a Kawasaki east in the 3800 block of Echodale Ave. about 7:10 p.m. from the crest of a hill when it struck the driver's side of a Cadillac that was northbound on Biddison Avenue, police said.

The driver of the car entered the intersection after stopping at a stop sign, said Officer James Fowler of the Accident Investigation Unit. The cyclist died at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
