Police identify men killed in shootings

Robert Holeman, 20, of the 1300 block of Pennsylvania Ave. was identified yesterday by city police as the man killed during a shooting Thursday night in West Baltimore.

Holeman was found shot in the face about 9 p.m. in the 1800 block of W. Lafayette Ave., police said. Detectives believe Holeman was shot during a robbery.

Detectives also identified Albert Harris, 22, of the 400 block of East 20th St. as the man fatally shot about the same time in the 1100 block of Washington Blvd.

Harris was visiting friends in the neighborhood when two men approached and one pulled out a gun and demanded money, police said.

Before anybody could react, the gunman fired two rounds, hitting Harris, police said.

Harris died at Maryland Shock Trauma Center about 10:30 p.m. Thursday.
