Sophomore Talia Shacklock scored four goals to lead the No. 2 Loyola women to a 14-5 victory over George Mason yesterday at Curley Field.

Loyola remained undefeated at 9-0, while the Patriots fell to 4-4 for the season.

After trailing 1-0 just 53 seconds into the game, the Greyhounds scored seven straight goals to take a 9-2 lead at the break.

College of Notre Dame 16, Trinity 4: Lori Baran scored a game-high four goals and Rebecca Dodson contributed three as the Gators overpowered the visiting Tigers.

Men

Mount St. Mary's 17, Marist 10: Kevin Merlini and Jason Werner paced the Mountaineers (2-6, 1-1) with three goals and two assists each as they outran the visiting Red Foxes (1-8, 1-3) in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference game.

Goucher 11, Wesley 7: James Clement scored two of his team-high three goals in the fourth quarter to push the Gophers (5-5) past the visiting Wolverines (1-5) in a nonconference game.

Mary Washington 9, St. Mary's 8: Kevin Whalen had three goals and Wayne Hickok had two, but the Seahawks (3-5, 1-1) could not get past the host Eagles (5-4, 4-0).
