The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Tamar Drive: 8800 block, Long Reach. A man cashed a check at the Long Reach Safeway on Sunday and was walking home when he was assaulted and robbed of an undisclosed amount of cash by two men. The two fled in a blue vehicle.

Humblebee Road: 5800 block, Oakland Mills. A man wearing a mask robbed a pizza deliverer of an undisclosed amount of cash Sunday and fled on foot.

Stevens Forest Road: 5700 block, Oakland Mills. A man was robbed of his cigarettes and lighters by two juveniles March 25.

West Columbia

Columbia Road: 5600 block, Dorsey's Search. Someone stole video games from a home Friday.

Midsummer Lane: 10700 block, Wilde Lake. Someone stole $12,000 worth of jewelry from a home Thursday or Friday.

Rain Dream Hill: 10700 block, Wilde Lake. A man stole a digital video disc player, laptop computer, camera and clothes from a home March 25.

Ellicott City/Elkridge

Bonnie View Lane: 5800 block, Ellicott City. Someone stole jewelry, video games and a box of quarters from a home Monday.

Ridge Road: 3200 block, Ellicott City. A man wearing a hat and possibly having green braces handed a teller at the Provident Bank a note Saturday demanding money. The teller gave the man an undisclosed amount of cash, and he fled.
