Drug arrests: Three Arizona men heading to New York City were arrested Monday night on Interstate 95 in White Marsh when Maryland Transportation Authority Police officers found marijuana valued at $35,000 hidden in a door panel of their van. Officer Jeffrey Young stopped the vehicle for a minor traffic violation, and he and other officers interviewing the men said they noticed an odor of marijuana. They found 35 1-pound bricks hidden behind a door panel. Each brick was sprinkled with a laundry detergent to mask its odor, said Cpl. Greg Prioleau, a spokesman for authority police. The men were charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and held at the county detention center in Towson.
