In entertainment circles, the early months of every year are an exhilarating whirlwind of glamour, parties and prizes galore.

It's a time packed with award ceremonies ranging from the Grammys and the Golden Globes to the British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards (BAFTA) and the Screen Actors Guild awards. And, of course, the red carpets that go along with them.
