March 27, 2003|BY A SUN STAFF WRITER

ANNA LANS — Anne Arundel County police are asking for the public's help to find a missing mentally ill woman.

Anna Lansbury, who suffers from schizophrenia and might be delusional, disappeared after job training March 14. She lives in a community-based psychiatric housing facility in the county, police said.

The woman's identity has never been verified, and police have not been able to track her exact date of birth or a Social Security number.

She appears to be between age 40 and 50, has an olive complexion and wavy, short black hair.

She is about 5 feet 6 inches and weighs about 150 pounds. She typically wears glasses.

She is well-educated and speaks fluent French, police said, and has no known family members in the area.

Anyone with information is asked to call the police missing persons unit at 410-222-3568.
