On March 22, 2003, GLORIA K. TANNEN died of kidney failure at the Virginia home of her daughter Andrea L. T. Peterson Lovingly surrounded by her three children Jeffrey A. Tannen, of Long Beach, NY, Ellen K. Tannen, of Pikesville, MD and Andrea L. T. Peterson. "The taste of hard earned peace is all the sweeter." There will be no formal memorial service or burial.
