On March 20, 2003; HELEN SPAULDING BARTON, widow of Thomas Bryan Barton, who preceded her in death in 1978; devoted and beloved mother of Elizabeth Barton Dunn, Thomas Bryan Barton, Jr., William Spaulding Barton and Richard Charles Barton; beloved mother-in-law of Charles Dunn, Mary Ann Barton, Lilly Spamer Barton and Jane MacEwen Barton; loving and devoted grandmother of Elizabeth Dunn Kaul, Barton Dunn, Mary Dunn, Matthew Dunn, Thomas Barton, James Barton, Ann Barton, Andrew Barton, Matthew Barton, Charles Barton, and David Barton and great-grandchildren Helen and Grace Kaul. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, served on the Alter Guild, and was one of the founders of Trinity's Surprise Shop, where she volunteered for more than 30 years. She was born in DeLand, FL, graduated from Stetson University, was a Pi BETA Phi, and a daughter of the American Revolution. Services will be held Saturday at 10 AM at Trinity Episcopal Church, 120 W. Alleghany Avenue, Towson. The family will receive friends immediately following the Service until 12 noon. Interment will be private. A donation, in lieu of flowers, may be made to The Surprise Shop at Trinity Episcopal Church.
