Jerome Joseph Bundy, 69, custodian, choir singer

Jerome Joseph Bundy, a custodian at the Johns Hopkins University who sang in church choirs, died Sunday at Sinai Hospital of complications from emphysema. The West Baltimore resident was 69.

Born in Baltimore and raised on North Stricker Street, he was a 1951 graduate of Douglass High School.

He served in the Army from 1959 to 1960.

Mr. Bundy retired after working for 25 years as a custodian at Hopkins' Homewood campus.

A tenor, he sang in the choirs of the Saint Ambrose, St. Cecilia and Our Lady of Good Counsel Roman Catholic churches. He was a parishioner of St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church in Baltimore.

A Mass of Christian burial will be offered at 12:30 today at St. Gregory, 1542 N. Gilmor St.

Survivors include three sisters, Cecilia Little, Dorothy Montague and Sister Mary Dolorosa Bundy of the Oblate Sisters of Providence, all of Baltimore.
