Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Theft: Someone entered an office at Salvation Army in the 2700 block of W. Patapsco Ave. between Feb. 28 and Wednesday and removed $2,013 from a safe.

Theft: Someone stole a check card belonging to a resident of the 3700 block of S. Hanover St. and used it Wednesday at a bank to withdraw $280.

Eastern District

Stabbing: A 16-year-old boy from Webb Court told police he was walking in the 900 block of Sterling Court about 3:30 p.m. Wednesday when an unknown male stabbed him in the left side. He was treated at Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Jewelry items valued at $2,700 were stolen Wednesday from a house in the 1900 block of E. Pratt St. by someone who entered through a side door.

Baltimore County

North Point Precinct

Drug arrest: Sgt. Robert Stelmack and Officer David Lease were in an unmarked patrol car in the 100 block of Avon Beach Road in Turners Station about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday when they spotted a woman driving a 1990 Acura recklessly and stopping at corners known for drug trafficking. When the officers approached the stopped vehicle, the woman was cutting cocaine she had just purchased, police said. Arrested and charged with possession of cocaine was Hyang Hwang, 38, of the 7900 block of Trappe Road.

Woodlawn Precinct

Robbery/assault: A 21-year-old woman was robbed of her purse in the first block of Woodbriar Court about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday by a man who knocked her to the ground and kicked her several times.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: Swimming pool equipment valued at $650 was stolen early Wednesday from Namco Pools & Patio in the 8100 block of Belair Road.
