Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Shooting: A gunman entered Murry's Steaks in the 3400 block of Clifton Ave. about 6 p.m. yesterday and shot the owner, 46, in the left eye in an apparent robbery attempt. The victim was in critical condition at Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Eastern District

Arrest: Police entered a house in the 400 block of N. Collington Ave. about 8 a.m. yesterday and arrested Tyrone Freeman, 19, on a warrant charging him with assaulting and robbing a 30-year-old woman in the 400 block of N. Chester St. on March 8. The victim was struck in the head with a piece of concrete that fractured her skull.

Arrest: A man wanted in the stabbing of another man in the 1700 block of E. Preston St. on Feb. 2 was arrested Monday in Clinton, N.C., by local deputies. Charged in a warrant with attempted murder and held pending an extradition hearing is Donta Spriggs, 22, whose address was not available.

Southern District

Robbery: A man was walking in the rear of the 3000 block of S. Hanover St. about 2 p.m. Monday when a man armed with a knife robbed him of $120. During a struggle, the victim was cut on the left arm. He refused medical treatment.

Southeastern District

Burglary: Someone broke into Chuck's Place in the 3100 block of Eastern Ave. early Monday and stole nearly $1,800 from a cash drawer.

Baltimore County

Wilkens Precinct

Arrest: A man alleged to have lured a 10-year-old boy into his house in the 3200 block of Rosalie Ave. about 5 p.m. Sunday was arrested about an hour later as he complied with police orders to step outside. Police said the child, who appeared to be uninjured, was not related to him. Charged with kidnapping and assault was Richard Reihl, 51.

Towson Precinct

Bank robbery: An apparently unarmed man robbed the Baltimore County Savings Bank in the 2100 block of York Road of an undisclosed sum about 3 p.m. Monday. Outside the bank, two dye packs concealed in the money exploded, but the man managed to elude capture. No money was recovered.

Parkville Precinct

Burglary: More than $1,300, and jewelry, cigarettes and a compact disc mixer - all valued at another $2,300 - were stolen Monday from a house in the 800 block of Hydra Lane.

Garrison Precinct

Robbery/stabbing: Three men were arguing over a cellular phone in an apartment in the first block of Straw Hat Road about 4:30 a.m. Sunday when one of them stabbed another in the back, left ear and side of the head. The pair, one armed with a handgun, escaped. The victim, 22, was treated at Northwest Hospital Center.
