Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southwestern District

Arrest: Larry Burton, 25, of the 2400 block of W. North Ave. was arrested yesterday at a parole office in the first block of E. Preston St. by members of the Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. He is accused in the death of Beldin Dillard, 36, of the 1300 block of Wildwood Parkway, who was shot Feb. 13 in the 2600 block of W. Fairmount Ave.

Eastern District

Murder try/arrest: Police responding to a report of a woman being assaulted arrested a man in his house in the 1200 block of Brentwood Ave., where he allegedly was trying to strangle a 32-year-old woman. Charged with attempted murder was Gilbert White, 50.

Southern District

Burglary: An undisclosed sum of money was stolen during the weekend from a safe at Family Dollar in the 1900 block of W. Pratt St.

Burglary: Cash, video games, 50 DVD movies and other property - all valued at $10,440 - were stolen Sunday from a house in the 1700 block of Light St.

Southeastern District

Theft from vehicle: A compact disc player, stereo speakers and 200 CDs - all valued at $4,023 - were stolen Sunday from a 2000 Mitsubishi Mirage parked in the rear yard of a house in the 1500 block of Charlotte Ave.

Baltimore County

White Marsh Precinct

Robbery: Police were seeking two men who robbed a man, 84, of $405 while the victim was refueling his car Saturday night at a gas station in the 8600 block of Philadelphia Road.
