On March 13, 2003, ROSE CECELIA of Fredericksburg, VA. Mrs Campell retired in 1994 as an Executive secretary from the National Security Agency after a thirty year career. She had the unique privilege of serving her entire career in support of NSA's premire program for mathematicians. Her reverence for their work and her willingness to reach out to each of them to assist in their professional and personal needs was legendary. She was an honored guest at their graduation ceremonies and yearly professional society awards banquets. After her retirement, Mrs. Campbell continued her association with the mathematical community, serving as an executive secretary at the Center for Computing Sciences in Bowie, MD. Beloved wife of the late Lt. Col. Paul L. Campbell Sr., USA, loving mother of Belva C. Miller and her husband Jay L. Miller III, Maj. Paul Campbell Jr. US Marine Corps retired; aunt of Rosalie J. Caulder, Andrea Timko and John W. Jenkins III. Also survived by eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and other loving family and friends. Visitation will be held on Tuesday March 25, 2003 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 P.M. at Donaldson Funeral Home P.A. 313 Talbott Ave. Laurel, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday March 26, 2003 11 A.M. at Saint Mary of the Mills Catholic Church 114 Saint Mary's Place Laurel, MD. Interment Arlington National Cemetery.
