Waymond E. Richard, 52, BWI maintenance worker

Waymond E. Richard, a former airport maintenance worker, died of a heart attack Saturday at his West Baltimore home. He was 52.

He had worked in Baltimore-Washington International Airport maintenance and had been a pastry chef.

Born in Baltimore and raised on Brunt Street, he was a 1968 graduate of Douglass High School.

He served in the Army in Germany during the Vietnam War era.

Services were held yesterday.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Richard, and his mother, Mamie Cook, both of Baltimore; three brothers, Hubert Richard of Killeen, Texas, and William Richard and David Richard, both of Baltimore; three sisters, Thelma Richard and Cynthia Richard, both of Baltimore, and Johnnie Hill of San Diego; and five grandchildren.
