Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Northeastern District

Arrests: Two men were arrested Tuesday and charged with stealing $3,000 worth of compact discs and video games from a Virginia store after Officer Robert Cashen of the Maryland Transportation Authority Police stopped their 1992 Toyota on northbound Interstate 95 for seatbelt violations. In the car, police recovered 156 compact discs and a backpack containing video games, all of which were reported stolen earlier that day from a Borders bookstore in Fredericksburg, Va., said Cpl. Greg Prioleau, a police spokesman. Prioleau said the men were heading for New York City. Charged with felony theft were Rasheed H.I. Yusuf, 23, of Richmond, Va., and Derrick L. Coaxum, 44, of Ozone Park, N.Y.

Burglary: Wine valued at $150 was stolen Tuesday from Mastellone Italian Deli & Wines in the 7200 block of Harford Road by someone who entered through a window.

Burglary: Someone entered a house in the 2400 block of Chesterfield Ave. Tuesday through a rear door and stole an undisclosed sum of cash.

Southwestern District

Burglary: Cigarettes valued at $800 were stolen Monday from Andy's food market in the 500 block of Denison St.

Theft from vehicle: Compact discs and stereo speakers - all valued at $2,000 - were stolen Monday from a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban parked in the 5100 block of Greenwich Ave.

Southeastern District

Homicide arrest: Jerome A. Wiley, 30, of the 1500 block of Kia Court was arrested yesterday in Salisbury by members of Baltimore's Warrant Apprehension Task Force on a warrant charging him with first-degree murder. The victim, Floyd Mitchell, 18, of the 1100 block of New Hope Circle in East Baltimore, was shot in the 200 block of Dallas Court. Wiley was returned to Baltimore and processed at Central Booking and Intake Center.

Southern District

Burglary: Stereo equipment and jewelry - all valued at more than $1,800 - were stolen Tuesday from an apartment in the 4100 block of Audrey Ave.

Baltimore County

Essex Precinct

Burglaries: Someone broke into three sheds in the 400 and 500 blocks of Nollmeyer Road on Tuesday. Tools valued at $90 were taken from one, and an all-terrain vehicle was tampered with at another. Nothing was reported missing from the third shed.

Burglary: A 1999 Kawasaki Bayou all-terrain vehicle valued at $3,100 was stolen Monday from a shed in the 3700 block of Charles Point Road.

Towson Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A white 2002 Dodge Caravan with Virginia tags XZM 4456 was stolen Tuesday from the parking garage at Sheraton Baltimore North Hotel on Dulaney Valley Road.

Garrison Precinct

Stolen vehicle: A white 2000 Mitsubishi Galant with tags HRX 936 was stolen Tuesday in the 4600 block of Horizon Circle.

Stolen vehicle: A black 1991 Acura with tags LEE 786 was stolen Tuesday in the 3800 block of Washington Ave.

Stolen car: A silver 1996 Mitsubishi Mirage with tags KHM 667 was stolen Tuesday in the 3600 block of Valley Terrace.

Stolen car: A blue 1989 Mercury with tags KHR 891 was stolen Tuesday in the 500 block of Rocklyn Ave.
