Police Blotter is a sampling of crimes from police reports in Baltimore City and Baltimore County.

Baltimore City

Southern District

Shooting: A man was seated in a car in the 3400 block of Seventh St. in Brooklyn about 7:45 last night when another man shot him in the upper body. The victim was taken to Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Shooting: A teen-age male was walking in the 2600 block of Pierpont St. about 10 p.m. Monday when an unknown assailant shot him in the lower right leg. He was treated at University of Maryland Medical Center.

Western District

Stabbing/arrest: A girl, 14, was arrested about 5 p.m. yesterday and charged as an adult with attempted murder in the stabbing of another girl, 16, during an altercation moments earlier at the Mondawmin Mall Metro station. The victim was stabbed with a pair of scissors and was treated at Sinai Hospital, said a spokeswoman for the Maryland Transit Administration.

Southeastern District

Robbery: A gunman robbed McDonald's in the 5600 block of O'Donnell St. of an undisclosed sum about 8:20 a.m. Monday.

Baltimore County

Cockeysville Precinct

Bank robbery/arrest: A West Baltimore man has been charged by the FBI with robbing Bank of America in the 11300 block of York Road about 10:30 a.m. Monday. Police said a man who implied he had a handgun fled the bank with cash and a hidden, explosive dye pack. Behind the nearby Cockeysville Volunteer Fire Station, police arrested the man, whose hands and clothing were stained with a red dye. Money taken in the robbery was recovered. Charged with bank robbery and held without bail is Shahid Muhammad, 42, of the 2200 block of Penrose Ave.

Burglary: Cartons of cigarettes valued at nearly $4,000 were stolen overnight Sunday from Maryland Line Service Center in the 21300 block of York Road.

Parkville Precinct

Armed robbery: A man armed with a semiautomatic handgun entered McDonald's in the 7300 block of McClean Blvd. about 9:30 p.m. Monday, forced the manager into an office and took an undisclosed sum from a safe.

Towson Precinct

Robbery try: Two men, one with a handgun, attempted to rob Lucky House Chinese Restaurant in the 6300 block of Sherwood Ave. about 8 p.m. Monday, but fled when an employee threatened them with a chair.

Woodlawn Precinct

Burglary: Someone entered the money-counting room at a Lowe's store in the 5700 block of Baltimore National Pike early Monday and removed four bags containing an undisclosed sum.

Wilkens Precinct

Burglary: A combination television/videocassette recorder was stolen Monday from a house in the 600 block of Hilton Ave. by a man seen driving away in a white pickup truck.
