HOWARD CRIME REPORT

The crime report is a sampling of crimes in Howard County compiled from police. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 410-313-3700.

East Columbia

Flowerstock Row: 8800 block, Long Reach. A man was walking home March 5 when another man demanded his wallet and then assaulted him. The attacker fled on foot.

Oakland Mills: 7000 block, Oakland Mills Road: A man armed with a handgun robbed a Pizza Boli's of an undisclosed amount of cash Friday and fled on foot.

Green Mountain Circle: 10700 block, Wilde Lake. Someone broke into a house between Feb. 24 and Saturday and stole a compact disc player and jewelry.

West Columbia

Columbia Road: 5600 block, Dorsey's Search. Two men approached another man as he approached his vehicle March 3 and demanded his wallet. The pair fled on foot before getting the wallet.

Twin Rivers Road: 10400 block, Wilde Lake. Someone smashed the window of a Blockbuster Video on Saturday with a rock and stole eight digital video discs.

N. Laurel/Savage/Jessup

Sheffield Court: 8100 block, Savage. A woman was getting out of her car March 5 when a man armed with a gun approached and demanded her purse. The man then struck the woman on the head and stole her purse.

Old Waterloo Road: 6500 block, Jessup. Two men stole 26 bottles of liquor worth nearly $800 from the Corner Store on Sunday.

Western Howard

Roxbury Mills Road: 2100 block, Cooksville. Someone broke into a High's store March 5 and stole cigarettes and lottery tickets.
