Price to conduct workshop on telemarketing

Carolyn West Price, president of IMPACT Marketing and Public Relations Inc., has been engaged to present a daylong workshop for the Association of Teleservices International Inc. (ATSI) on March 27.

The workshop, "Who Says Marketing Has to Cost a Lot to be Effective?" is open to ATSI members and other call centers or answering services whose members want to attend.

Price, who teaches at Loyola College and the Johns Hopkins University, operates her 13-year-old marketing and communications consulting practice in Ellicott City.

Meeting Planners chosen for Enterprise conference

Bobbie McAdam, owner and president of Meeting Planners Inc. of North Laurel, has announced that her company has been hired by the Enterprise Foundation to coordinate its fourth "Ready, Work, Grow Conference," scheduled for March 19-21 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel.

About 750 people are expected to attend the event, which includes the J.P. Morgan Chase Awards for Excellence in Workforce Development. This is the third year that Meeting Planners has held the contract.
